About me

Janna Centrella, MA, LPCC, RYT

The best way to take care of the future, is to take care of the present moment
— Thich Nhat Hanh

Hello there! My name is Janna (she/her). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and a Brainspotting Practitioner who identifies as a nature-based focused therapist. I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their unique journeys toward healing and growth, walking alongside them as they discover their own path. My practice is rooted in the belief that nature offers profound wisdom and is a powerful space for reflection, restoration, and a reclamation of our true nature. In our work together, we’ll create a space for your brain and body’s natural ability to heal itself and to follow and listen to the rhythms of the nervous system.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, grief, and life transitions. Additionally, I feel especially called to support those who identify as neurodivergent (Highly Sensitive/ADHD Symptoms, etc.), those seeking spiritual support and/or integration, and those who have experienced narcissistic abuse.

I aim to show up humbly with cultural sensitivity and humility, as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, and to bring along my own messy human nature.

I believe the therapy journey to be a collaborative process. Together, we will work alongside each other to uncover your own inner wisdom and answers that reside within you.

When I’m not “therapist”

Being a therapist tends to blend into many areas of one’s life and is a hard role to separate. I believe in the importance of humanizing myself and to walk the talk on continuous self work, learning, and growth.

When I’m not in the therapy space you may find me with my partner partaking in forms of self-care and moving energy by doing yoga, qi gong, meditating, hiking, trail running, dancing, attempting art, recycling, camping, cold water plunging, or backpacking in Colorado's mountains. This type of self-care and playfulness informs my work and nourishes my heart and spirit.
